Blast from the past - Short rally documentary called Journey of the New Škoda FABIA R5 evo to Victorious Rally Portugal

Škoda Motorsport really knows how to build a strong rally car and we are talking here about the R5 cars or Rally2 cars these days.

It is important that car doesn't stop even if you break something as we can see from this short rally movie when Jan Kopecky, works Škoda driver, broke something on his car but the car kept going. That is what we call the strong rally car.

Beside their strength and reliability they are very fast and the most rallies they start, they also win.

The example for this is Andreas Mikkelsen who finished 6th overall at Monza Rally and 7th at Monte Carlo Rallye, both times as the winner of Rally2 class. They are just unbeatable in the right hands.

In this movie we can see Kalle Rovanpera who is now Toyota works driver, but who also finished 6th overall at the gravel of Portugal. At that time it was already known that Finland has a new bright star.
