Blast from the past - WRC Rally Australia 1994

Hi, friends!

Today we have a video from Czech Republic because Škoda works team was involved in the World Rally Championship with their Favorit 1.3 Group A car for a long time.

Their driver Pavel Sibera won many rallies in his class and that class was A5.
They had another great driver Emil Triner who also had great results. Both guys are from Czech Republic.

Season 1994 made a big name of Colin McRae. He didn't win the crown that year but it was a great start into the something that gave him a crown next season.

Colin McRae won that Rally Australia 1994 but there were other two excellent drivers from Subaru - Peter 'Possum' Bourne and Richard Burns - who also finished in the top 5. That means that Subaru had three cars in the top 5.

Don't forget that Richard Burns became a World Rally Champion in 2001.

What about other teams?
Toyota was there and their top gun Juha Kankkunen finished 2nd overall. It is really strange no to see Didier Auriol, another Toyota driver, in the results. He became WRC champion of 1994 later that year.

Mitsubishi was also present there with Kenneth Ericsson who finished 3rd overall.
