How pro rally drivers prepare before special stage
Hi, friends!
Every driver has his/her own mantra and job what to do before every special stage because concentration must be on the maximum.
Driver and co-driver can change some tires and every crew has aprx 2 spare tires in the boot of the rally car. Then you can combine what kind of tire could help you on the next special stage.
It is crucial to have a good visibility so they must clean the windscreen before continuing onto the special stage.
They also must check the tire pressure to see if everything is ok.
The last thing is to check the notes before the next special stage to see what kind of the road is n front of them.

It's fascinating to see the behind the scenes, and the downtime between intense rally stages, just to see how drivers prepare themselves. Looks pretty chilly there!
it's January, Monte Carlo Rallye. i watch this to learn how to be calm before the special stage. :)
Seeing how calm they are before entering the intensity of rallying, does help bring that calmness into my soul, too!
