Onboard rally video of the day - Mikkelsen with Škoda on test ahead of WRC Croatia Rally 2021

Norwegian Andreas Mikkelsen tested yesterday on the same special stage where I was spectating today and where M-Sport Ford tested today called Cranojelje.

It is really great piece of road with some hairpins, technical parts but also with some fast sections where you can build some proper speed.

Mikkelsen is a top driver and you can see it from the video why he won three WRC rallies so far but on some parts I think that he wasn't going to the full momentum of the engine and that means losing a few tenths.

But that is just a test and he was probably more testing with set-up and tires because Croatian tarmac is very unique with mixture of tarmac and concrete.

I found some very sharp parts today and it is question how long that tires can keep the grip after that sharp and storng concrete parts.

Guy from Pirelli was on the test whole the time, going to inspect the road from time to time.

Mikkelsen already had two days of testing but my friend P. told me that he will test tomorrow again on the roads around place called Bistra.
