Prokop to enter WRC Rally Sardinia

Czech driver Martin Prokop is not present in the rallying world as he used to be. He was a Junior WRC champion more then a decade ago and from then, with a big budget from his family business, he ran only serious programs with Ford Fiesta WRC cars.

His plan was good - buy a WRC car instead of renting it and run a car by you team. It make sense, that way you can save a lots of money.

He scored some 4th place finishes in the World Rally Championship and then, with the introduction of WRC 2017 technology, he realised it is just to expensive to run the 750 000€ car on WRC rallies with the tech not that much reliable as the generation before.

That's why he kept his older evo of Ford Fiesta WRC which he enter every year for WRC Rally Sardinia.

He can hope for a top 16 result but for something more, he will have to wait for the retirement from bigger names from the entry list.
