Hace unos días me topé con este tag de @maridmc bastante curioso y quise compartirlo con ustedes ya que me pareció excelente idea relatar mis recuerdos divertidos con ustedes y de esta manera reírnos de nuestras “desgracias” o de cosas que particularmente nos gustan. Empecemos!

A few days ago I came across this rather curious @maridmc tag and I wanted to share it with you since it seemed like an excellent idea to share my funny memories with you and in this way laugh at our “misfortunes” or things that we particularly like. Let us begin!

1- ¿Qué es lo que haces de manera diferente a la mayoría de la gente?

Soy una persona maniática con todo, texturas, colores, comidas, bebidas, frutos, vestimenta, y pare de contar. Una de las cosas que me he dado cuenta que solo YO hago, es no echarle sal a la masa de las arepas. Es una manía que me han criticado sin cesar y que no puedo dejar de hacer.

Otra cosa podría ser que no puedo dormir frente a espejos, necesito taparlos o ponerme en un lugar en el que no me vea directamente mientras duerma. Soy bastante supersticiosa, lo sé, jejeje.

1- What do you do differently from most people?

I am a maniac person with everything, textures, colors, foods, drinks, fruits, clothes, and stop counting. One of the things that I have realized that only I do is not add salt to the arepas dough. It is a mania that I have been criticized incessantly and that I cannot stop doing.

Another thing could be that I cannot sleep in front of mirrors, I need to cover them or put myself in a place where I cannot be seen directly while sleeping. I'm quite superstitious, I know, lol.

2- La vergüenza más grande de tu vida, hasta el momento.

Haberme caído en la entrada de mi colegio mientras corría con un grupo de amigos gigantesco al transporte, haberme manchado cuando justo decidió aparecer mi menstruación en un evento navideño del colegio, haber publicado una historia haciendo estupideces para todos en lugar de mejores amigos en mi Instagram… Son unas cuantas de las vergüenzas que he pasado en mi vida y que he considerado un “trágame tierra”.

2-The biggest shame of your life, so far

Having fallen at the entrance of my school while running with a gigantic group of friends to the transport, having stained when my period decided to appear at a school Christmas event, having published a story doing stupid things for everyone instead of best friends on my Instagram … These are just a few of the embarrassments that I have experienced in my life and that I have considered a “swallow me earth”.

3-¿Cuál ha sido tu reacción más loca ante una fobia?

Una de mis fobias son los sapos y recientemente vi uno en mi jardín, pero súper cerca de mi pie. Se podrán imaginar que gritar, saltar, correr, montarme en el mueble más cercano y casi llorar del desespero de que ese animal estuviera tan cerca de mí, se quedó corto.

3-What has been your craziest reaction to a phobia?

One of my phobias is toads and I recently saw one in my garden, but super close to my foot. You can imagine that yelling, jumping, running, riding on the closest piece of furniture and almost crying out of despair that that animal was so close to me, fell short.
