Still on Funke akindele movie, the movie behind the scenes is one powerful movie from this beautiful woman. Behind the scenes is a Nigerian movies that is premiered in cinemas. It was released in December 12 ,2025 a 2hrs 24 mins movie.
Behind the scenes this a very beautiful family drama that shows the life of successful woman as she is forced to test her family while paying the price for her own emotions as she is someone who always turns up for others but they never turn up for her.
Aderonke played an exceptional is seen as a very beautiful and hardworking real estate worker , her generosity is being taken for granted by her siblings especially her elder sister Adetutu. She has always carried the burden of her family and she didn't really think any thing about it because she has all she needs to do that and even more.
Her siblings became so dependent on her that they began to scam her, they became entitled and expected her to always show up for them like it was now an obligation for her to do that. Well obviously life had other plans for her .
Ronke is a typical example of when you look at someone and say your good to a fault , she was good to a fault , her kindness is so big that she cleared up the salary of the workers of one of her friends , because they were harassing her when she arrived at her friend's office.
Her life takes a strange turn as she is being diagnosed with lupus a terminal disease which totally breaks her down and shatters her world, she is being forced to think about herself and not people around her.
She was really scared of what Will happen to her children , till she had to come up with a plan to see if her family will be there for her like she has always been there for them, but unfortunately they didn't love her and her children at all.
Ronke faked her death with the help of her friend and her friends husband. Mind you the whole Idea is as a result of a yoruba saying. Something that has to do with pretending to die to see who will mourn you. She didn't want to straight up ask her family what they think about her.
Immediately after her death her siblings move into her house not knowing that she is monitoring them from a hideout. Things became very difficult for her children soon as. They suffer in the hands of the adults in the house they starved and maltreated in their mother's house. Adetutu show the bitter side of her, her brother Adewale is not the best either as he and his wife have been very greedy from the on set and now they increase it.
Oluchi and Johnson her house keepers are the only ones who genuinely take care of her children and her sister Adetutu realised this and fired them. Well the children found a way to get to oluchi and Johnson when the house became very uncomfortable for them.
I feel the ending of the was rushed.
The whole emotional moment was not emphasised on much, they should have given her enough time to really express her emotions and reunite with her children. The marriage between oluchi and Johnson came at the right time all thanks to Ronke.
The movie behind the scenes is a beautiful movie showing a typical Nigerian family drama , greed and manipulation all together. Well I won't rate it a 100%, because some characters were underdeveloped.

I heard so much about the movie and didn't see it until I watched a few scenes when I visited a friend earlier this year. The movie is a good write-up and has a lot of lessons one could pick up. Not a fan of Nigerian movies, but I found this movie very interesting.
