I am not the only one majorly unhappy with the CDC
US Center for Disease Control (CDC) has earned massive scorn and contempt of many. Its incompetent handling of the COVID-19 pandemic - and perhaps even deliberate corruption involved - and its arrogance - have crossed many red lines for many people.
Linked below is an article in the Discourse magazine where Tevi Troy, the author, argues that the CDC needs to be reformed and discusses various ways to accomplish that. I think that is not enough - I believe the CDC needs to be disbanded and then perhaps reconstituted. But what matters is that many, including authors published in moderate, mainstream publications no longer believe that it is acceptable to allow the CDC conduct "business as usual". This is a welome paradigm shift - it is long time we started to decisively change our society, reforming or even eliminating government organizations and agencies that have become corrupt and have been caught being inefficient or even engaging in corrupt or criminal practices.

First time heard about CDC, thanks for discussing it with details as I was curious to know.
I think that reformation is a need for such instutions in the world.
I didn't think much about the CDC pre 2019, now whenever they say anything I presume the opposite is the case. They kind of ruined all of their credibility in the past 2 years along with almost all media and politicians.
