HIVE @photo52 Week 17 Life ~ my swans have returned with their new young ones
THIS IS OUR SWAN FAMILY
For those who follow me know we have ducks but there are also swans here. We had a nest last year but this year they were away for a while but they returned this week with their offspring. I photographed the nest a few weeks ago and blogged about it.
Meet the babies, fluffy and all. @melinda010100 i am a mum again hahhaah after all the hartache of loosing a few ducks, this makes D very happy. And the dogs well lets say its not love at first sight !

Dawww, what cute little guys! My mother in law has a nest of Canada Geese near her yard, and the eggs have apparently all hatched into little yellow fluffballs of baby geese. She's enamoured with them too.
Canada gees love those , they walk proud. I think they make noise though. We have the swans and only have to watch mum and dad they are dangerousLy protective but a gem to watch

The cygnets are so adorable, @brittandjosie! I wish the word for baby swan was prettier, like "gosling" for a baby goose. Ha ha. Thank you for sharing the wonder of new life.

I call them fluff balls, the are adorable. Mam and dad can be dangerous protecting the off spring so I have to be careful with the dogs and D , he is over the moon so every day he is making porridge. We got one duck left and he is also getting the porridge. Nature is great as a distraction these covid days

Life as it should be. Simple and beautiful. Five precious babies. They don't know anything of the world. You're fortunate to have such beauty nearby. Congratulations on the addition to you family.

Oh! How beautiful! It's so wonderful to have swans close by but to have them with their off spring is fabulous!
