Hello 🐝lovely🐝bees🐝! It’s Wednesday 5th August 2020!! Happy Hump Day!
Yesterday, after the guests had left and I finished cleaning and preparing the room for the next guests, I went up to the other house and sanded the plaster work I had done, washed down the walls and began painting the walls (undercoat).
We had a rethink about the kitchen floor. As we need to be a bit careful with money, and the kitchen floor is concrete and in quite a good state, we decided we would abandon the idea of tiling it. Or at least for now. Painting it with floor paint will be 10 times cheaper and quicker too. So that is what we are going to do. We can always change our minds at a later date and tile the floor then.
When I finished for the evening I walked the dogs. The sky was beautifully blue!
Today we have guests leaving the B&B. I will clean and prepare their room when they go and then I will go back up to the other house to continue painting undercoat on the kitchen walls and ceiling.

Hello, @felt.buzz! I like how the work in the other house is turning out. The photos of your walk with the dogs are lovely, made me wish it was that sunnier today where I live, so I could enjoy some sun rays and fresh air as well! Here it has been raining non-stop.

We could do with some rain. It has been very dry for a long time. There are wildfires in part of France (but not near here). We have a week of very hot weather coming up and then it is supposed to storm... we shall see!
