It's been a while since we read each other, I don't know if you missed me (I really hope so), but I miss you. December was not the beautiful month I expected, and there were many things that did not go as I expected to end 2019 as I wished, but things are not all bad when they do not go as we want. I'll make it short, I got sick, my whole body hurt, I had a horrible allergy for about two weeks, which made my New Year's Eve and New Year's Eve something fatal, the truth is that it made me run away. However, what I did was something that I had a lot of time without doing, and that was to take a few days off from work and to think about how to generate income, I took the time to share with My Mathias and my parents, because deep down they are the greatest gift that life, our children and our parents give us.

Thinking back, this year was very strong for many and I was no exception, family and friends have had to emigrate, and knowing them far away made me think how difficult and sad Christmas was going to be for them, both for those who left and those who stayed. This Christmas left me a very clear and strong message, and that is that we must value what we have but especially those who are by our side, not all are perfect but make our lives much better, I thank life to give a hug to my brothers, parents, aunts and my beloved son, and not have to give them a message of merry Christmas or happy new year for a video call of whatsapp or skiing, because that has translated the Christmas of many in my beloved but imperfect country. My family is not perfect but it is certainly the best for me!

I thank the universe for conspiring to always bring out the best people in my life, family, friends, colleagues and all those who pass through my life leaving an indelible mark, knowledge, experience and excellent conversations I have managed to achieve by this means. This year I hope to give you good publications, delicious recipes and we will see if we apply some changes to this blog, which in a little while will be two years old. This year promises many good things and I know that all of us here will be part of the best that is to come.

This publication that I make today, does not come with recipes or with any photographs of plants or animals that you know I love, today I want to thank all those who were part of my 2019 and that without any doubt I want them to be part of my 2020 and the years to come, because they are exceptional and they managed to make last year one of the best years of my life, because the learning that each one of them left in me is invaluable, because at the end of the day what we take away from this plane is what we lived and what we learned, what we enjoyed and knew.
