Tooth Fairy / Yes or No?

After celebrating his birthday, Jansen did have a wish for his wobbly front lower tooth to come out soon. Looks like God answered his prayer because the tooth came out this morning when he was eating his strawberry jam sandwich. I dared not put myself to help him pull out eventhough when I was young, I could pull my own wobbly tooth.

He was so happy!!!

"Yay, I am same as brother and I am officially big boy!"

Don't know where he got the notion of tooth came out means he is a big boy, I never said that, haha!

"Means tooth fairy is going to come!"

Wait, wait! What? I never said that too.

Then he asked me to wash his tooth clean and place into a container, that tonight he will put under his pillow. And, I was reminded to jot down the date too.

I had never grown up with the belief that tooth fairy existed. So does this means I need to sneakily take his tooth and replace with a coin?

🤷‍♀️

Yes or No?

❤️Love from me❤️

Well, I personally don't like teaching my kids to believe in things that's not real, however, I do tell my kids that there's a mouse collecting teeth to build his piano and that he pays for healthy teeth. I feel like it encourages them to brush their teeth and also to be brave when the tooth has to come out. Also, the look on their faces when they wake up and find a reward in his shoe or under his pillow is priceless and it makes my day too! As they grow older they will come to realize that tooth fairies or tooth mice are not real anyway but they'll remember how rewarding it was when they had to be brave. Xx

When tooth fairy took my first tooth, I cried a lot but later my mom said, don't worry, the tooth fairy will give you another nice strong tooth... :D
He is looking so cute...

I didn't have the tooth fairy come for my teeth.
But she did come for all my kids' teeth for a bit.
There were times the tooth fairy was late too, because she'd get too busy and not get to it by the next morning and so they had to wait another whole day to see if she'd come around haha

I have no qualms in make-believe - I think kids need a little bit of that. Imagination breeds creativity.

But of course, you know your children best, and you'll do what's best for them :D
