I had fun with this game, and I realized that my 12-year-old daughter knows more about current music than I do. She thinks several of the songs in the selection are great, and I didn't even know them 😂

Well, for one, there, is no specific challenge. So there is nothing to check up on. But I appreciate the humor in your follow up question.

Secondly, freedom is a state of mind. While we may not always be physically free and bound by society, one can be mentally free by bein aware of their surroundings, their actions and the actions of others, and being in control of the choices they make.

That song is in the movie "The Book of Life". In Mexico there is an important celebration on the Day of the Dead. The makeup is very particular. They are colorful skulls.
People offer flowers and food so that their dead are not forgotten. It's an amazing cultural experience.

    Not sure if this counts, it's technically an entire album, but it's mixed in a way where the entire album blends smoothly into one continuous track. Either way, you'll likely find it to be quite a different listening experience to anything else you've listened to. This artist has pretty much pioneered this particular musical art format, you'll understand what I mean within your first minute of listening.

    My selection is "Sweet dreams" by Marilyn Manson because I'm listening to my favorite satellite radio station and it is currently playing as I'm reading this. I have loved this song since I was a teen and used to drive my parents bananas blasting that thru the house out of spite because I knew they hated it with a passion and they thought both him and I were possessed by the devil. I also saw him live and was in the mosh pit a few years back, good show but they launched a bunch of glitter for on those by the stage, which I'm still finding in the house from time to time...I was covered being right at the front!

    What a cool contest! I just bumped into it, and will leave my contribution as well. This is a song from a portuguese singer called Marisa, and it's called "Chuva" (chuva means rain in english). If you don't know the genre, its Fado, the typical portuguese music. And although Fado is not my favourite music genre at all, since most musics are more on the sad side, this one I love!
