About today's work

December is almost gone, and so is 2020. This is the penultimate artwork in the Hive 2021 countdown, an old painting that I have fixed up a bit and published as creative commons. The Nazgûl is a terrible creature from J.R.R. Tolkien's books Lord of the Rings... this one is hungry.

Were not they all hungry? Hungry to appease their lord?

This is pretty close to how I envision them: skeletal, crowned, ravenous, laser tuned eyes.

I can just imagine some Nazgul turning up a MacDonald's demanding burgers. Hope 2021 is exciting for you.
