The following photographic series is made of a beautiful insect that played among the branches of a small tree that I have in my front yard, it is a Trachyderes mandibularis commonly called little cow The oldest people, they named for their huge antennae as they appear to have huge horns.

^{La siguiente serie fotográfica se la realice a un bello insecto que jugueteaba entre las ramas de un diminuto árbol que tengo en mi patio delantero, se trata de un Trachyderes mandibularis comunmente llamado vaquita las personas mas longevas de por aqui les llaman así por sus enormes antenas, ya que parece que tienen unos enormes cuernos.}

They are very striking beetles, they are equipped with a strong armor, sometimes colorful like this small one and other times more discreet, with brown, gray and black tones, they have three pairs of strong legs, two large antennae, with small eyes, one fierce and huge jaw, which makes him highly respected.

^{Lo que me queda claro al verlo tan de cerca es que no tiene una muy buena vista, supongo que por eso esta dotado con tan extraordinarias antenas, son muy largas y dividas en pequeñas secciones y cada seccion esta dotada con diminutas vellosidades. Cuando se siente en peligro se queda quieto y comienza a lanzar un chillido, mientras hace eso abre y cierra su mandibula, y por momentos queda con sus fauces completamente abiertas en espera de algun ataque.}
