between lepidoptera and trees - QURATOR'S PHOTO QUEST / Double Exposure
Qurator's Photo Quest | Double Exposure, I had not had the opportunity to get into this photographic style and this is a good opportunity to experiment and learn.
The first photograph is about a gray moth that days ago I had the opportunity to photograph, I added as a background a shot of a wall invaded by moss and some tiny plants.
I decided to use some butterflies and moths as models, keeping in mind a striking background as long as it does not take so much prominence from the silhouette of the main object, in the following examples I made images in color and also in black and white, both results are quite good.
In the next set of shots we can see an atlas moth with its large wings and its characteristic markings on a somewhat colorful background, next to it we see a gray moth on a background of a tree.
On this side we can see a beautiful striped butterfly adding as a background a photograph of a leafy tree, to the right I rotated the shot and added another background of a flowered tree where the clear blue sky stands out a little more.
This shot is of another butterfly in this image I decided not to give the butterfly so much opacity and I added a background where you can see a photograph of a tree with its green leaves and its beautiful bark, I inverted the photograph to give it an interesting touch.
And to finish I present a photograph of a butterfly looking straight ahead I put a background of a colorful tree, I liked the effect that was left since you can see the small specks on the wings of the butterfly you can also see the blue sky and part from the branches of the tree
