A Monochrome Tree Tuesday

P1200663.jpg

Well as I was too busy to get a post up for my own Monochrome Monday tag, I thought combining it for this week with my Tree Tuesday tag would be a decent idea. Hey, you know, I am not just a pretty face. I can dream up a decent idea now and again lol.

For some time now I have been wanting to try to see what a few of my tree pics would look like in mono. Mono changes the way any shot is viewed of course, but in my mind, I feel it works better on some rather than others.

Threshold shot of some branches or blood vessels lol.

It got sown here to 45 last night. Makes for good sleeping and cold toes. I cant believe summer has said adieu :(

I love the texture of wood. It feels nice beneath my hand. I'd love to sand down that second one, it has some really interesting lines to it.

I have never taken a blood vessel shot. It's minimalistic, yet not. I think that is what is so cool about the shot.

And, yes. I see you have a tree of life too. :)) It is a big one. Happy MonochromaticTreeTuesday. Have a great night.

Trees have an amazing texture, lines, and forms but many of us don't notice it. Fun fact is when I was a student of Architecture, we had a project where we had to observe trees, had to take some lines, and had to prepare a project form. It's was a really nice experience of my life so far.
