We had a good soaker rain which freshened everything up and bought new life to the landscape!

At the head of our lane is the neighbors horse pasture with his horses out grazing on the fresh growth of grass. The two young horses were more curious and came towards us.

Further up the road our other neighbor had a horse pasture and I got one good photo of his horse with the funny markings on his face just heading over to where the other horses were behind the ravine.

One more neighbor had horses which were around the bend. There were three of them enjoying the fresh green grass.

Along the ditches one of the earlier blooming flowers was plentiful - the woodland violet!

Also some yellow flowers were in bloom that looked somewhat like a buttercup.

Even some grasses had a flower head on them.

We have a tremendous amount of wildflowers growing in this area and this is just the beginning!
