Rocket Fuel Coffee Morning Ramble- Another Day Away
A very good morning to all of you lovely Hivers out there! Welcome to this mornings edition of the.....
Another late coffee it's nearly 10am. Not like me to have a sleep in but why the hell not? Another fun night of food and drinks and we have just one more to go with @diveratt as he will be headed back to the UK tomorrow. But we think we've saved the best til last....Craft Beer! Oh yeah we have been waiting for 9 months for this. We've had emergency supplies of this magic liquid sent down over the last few months but there's no substitute for being there. We checked, they're open, we're happy!
So I've spotted a nice spot for coffee this morning while I tap away at the keyboard and ponder the day ahead. It really has made the world of difference getting away for a few days. It's made me realise the hamster wheel we are in all be it a hamster wheel with a cracking view , but it's a hamster wheel none the less and I yearn to break the cycle once and for all. I need to go back with that mind set as things are not normal down there so I can change it up a bit as I see fit. This is the benefit of getting away. You are not immersed in the day today any more and can see things a little more objectively. I am grateful for this chance to take a step back and make a plan, change the mindset and push on with more energy in a different direction.
So now the gang is all downstairs and have joined me for coffee so I'll sign off for now as we are about to launch into the day and get a few things done. More coffee first though

Change of view is as good as a holiday, having a friend stop over makes you feel like a million dollars!

Some times it is those horribly beautiful hamster wheels that are the hardest to jump off.

I also like the idea of taking a moment not only to recharge, but to review and make positive changes. A single trajectory isn't able to react to turbulence.

lol people think cos its a nice view everything must be awesome. Business is non existent and everyday is a long day of nothing and it doesn't look like changing yet i still have to steer the business ship. lol i actually used to work on a little island you could walk around in 20 mins. The guests all thought it was an absolute paradise, well it was for a few days but after 3 months at a time you go nuts. Same here right now. This past few days of getting away from the very repetitive schedule has been good (thats my hamster wheel doing the same stuff everyday and for nothing right now).
You sure know how to get the most out of a shot! Those colors are stunning. Glad you could get away for a bit.

That wooden wire spool coffee table there caught my eye.
I made three of those years ago. Two are in our living room, one on the screened deck.
I love stuff like that. What do they call it now "upcycling" lol it's creative reusing shit. People have been doing it for years. Would love to see pics of those tables of yours
