8:43am and the dive boat is already out. It's all familiar faces and a nice relaxing morning considering I am at work. The Rescue Diver Student has now arrived and they are getting geared up and prepping for the rescue scenarios that they will be going through today. This student is also planning on going through to Divemaster. We have had a lot of success getting people to do Divemaster courses this year as people are trying to make the most of their quarantine time and accomplish something rather than sit around doing very little. I think this is a good thing. It's really not a time to be wasting your time.

Odins DAY ( Wednesday ) isn't usually this busy but I am glad for the business right now. A lot of dive boats sitting idle or going out with only one diver on these days. It's good to have at least something to be getting on with and have some real functionality in the day.

It's really hard to believe that we are now 8 months into our various quarantine stages and very little appears to be happening to indicate any real change coming in the near future. How soon will the vaccines be ready, rolled out and distributed. How quickly will this have an effect on the way the global economy operates? We can only wait and see........and drink more coffee
