A very good morning to all of you lovely Hivers out there! Welcome to this mornings edition of the....
The calm stillness though seems to amplify the silence of the town. Yesterday was exceptionally quiet on the people front but the waves and wind bring their own energy to a day.
Today is quiet and still. Hardly a breeze and now the buzz of the divers has disappeared as the boat has gone out, it's deathly quiet. Very weird feeling in a town that's usually very noisy with tricycles and music blaring, people shouting and the usual background cacophony that is the Philippines.
So I'll enjoy another coffee in peace for a bit and wait until the divers are back.

Why am I not surprised that scuba is on the fucking case already. Good stuff huh? I pay a fuck-load to get it down here usually, not since corona-chan though.
My old neighbour 'Jonny" works security in places like Iraq and currently in Kazakhstan moved his home base back to Thailand from here a few years back. he left some for me along with a lot of other coffee related stuff grinder etc. He's also the dude I bought my motorcycle from. I smiled when you mentioned it and dug out my old instagram boiled egg post from a while back and thought this will make galen chuckle
One should always have a boiled egg photo secreted away...I don't know how those who don't get through life. :)
I like this security-dude...He drinks the right coffee, rides motorbikes, clearly has guns, and is generous with his stuff...Sounds like a good chap. I was sure you'd not have tried BRC but scuba's legitness is unsurpassed...I should have known.
