Rocket Fuel Coffee Morning Ramble- The Cleaning Routine
A very good morning to all of you lovely Hivers out there! This is the latest comic edition of the...
We don't just sisinfect the gear today we also run alot of it through its paces as its not all getting used as often as it otherwise would be. So I have the guys set all the BCD's and breathing regulators up on a tank and inflate and deflate the bcds so the mechanisms get regular use nd have the breathing regs tested to be sure there are no leaks or freeflows.
We were doing this regularly on the quiet days as well as it's important to not let the gear just sit stagnant. We need it to be serviceable for when it's needed and not to have a problem the moment we do want to use it.
This is becoming an increasingly familiar pattern as more and more folks are leaving and nobody is permitted to return. At least P-Dog isn't leaving the country and he's always welcome back here as he's part of the family.
I know in a few months we will lose @diveratt also which is another sadness looming in the not too distant future. I'll be sad to see that little cheeky fucker go. I enjoy the beers and snacks and F1 days. Not to mention the kayaking and paddleboarding ( when he's not falling off). I wonder who else is going to be departing soon? Right I need some more black juice, the gang is arriving and I have tasks to assign..

Often hard to say goodbye to a friend, whether you've known them for a long or short period. If it's meant to be, your paths will cross again.
Great black and white photography as always. 🍻
Yup always a tough one. Thanks for the comment :) I'm pretty sure I'll see them again.

Still, plenty of time to make your life a misery
