Exchanged Some HIVE to Buy This... Unboxing and Installing My New Monitor <3 <3 <3

What's up friends!!! Shei here. :)

In my previous blog in this community, I did an unboxing of my new computer speaker which my parents gave me. My classes have been great so far as I didn't have to wear my headphones anymore. I didn't have earache nor headache, so I could continue working without any problem. <3

I also mentioned that I exchanged some HIVE in order to buy an office chair which is ergonomic and has a massage feature so I could also get rid of my backache from work. (The product hasn't arrived yet, but I'm expecting to receive it either this week or next week) When I told my parents about this, they told me that they were actually also saving to buy me a chair because they see me struggle every time since I only use a plastic monoblock chair for work.

They told me they'd take care of the office chair, so I am free to buy other things I need using the HIVE I exchanged. Well, I've been trying to save up for a new monitor since my monitor started having white spots on the side. It happened to my previous monitor, too. So I know that its life is coming to an end soon.

I was in two minds since the monitor I'm eyeing is kind of pricey (at least for me), but I also think that it's going to be a good investment in my kind of work. The one I'm using before this was a secondhand one, so it's understandable that it's already about to give up after a couple of years. So, I withdrew some money I saved in addition to the money I exchanged from HIVE. :)

It's a 22-inch Samsung LED Monitor. I've always wanted to have a bigger monitor since I like to multitask especially when my student is late or absent. I can do stuff like watch anime or movies, write blogs, etc., while still checking our virtual lesson room. There are also other features that I like about this monitor, which I'll be sharing later on. Let's do the unboxing first!

We did the unboxing inside the house after Arashi went inside the room for his nap. haha

Here are some wires... basically, it's the adapter and an HDMI connector.

Then we got the screen, the stand and the manual. Too many plastic, but I'm not complaining. Let's just take them all off! XD

Now that we all have the parts, let's attach them! There aren't a lot of parts, so it's pretty easy to do so. However, I needed my papa's help since it's difficult to handle the screen alone.

We started with the stand. It was pretty easy to connect as the screws were already attached and we just had to tighten them. The next step would be a bit trickier than this, though.

Attaching the stand to the screen was a bit tricky because the location of the screw is too narrow. Good thing my father's screwdriver is short, so we were able to manage screwing them. I needed to carry or tilt the screen slightly as papa screwed. You really need an assistant in doing this if you don't want to risk dropping your monitor. haha Thanks papa! <3

This monitor has both VGA and HDMI ports. :) My previous one only has VGA... ^^ Also, the power button also functions as a joystick, so you can do some adjustments on your monitor. It's more convenient than having all those small buttons under your monitor. <3

Now that everything is all set, let's place it inside the room. ^^

Tadah!!! I'm soooo happy! :) I've always wanted this kind of monitor. There are a lot of advantages or features of having this monitor or perhaps other LED monitors. Even though they're pricier, they have lower power consumption. They also have longer lifespan, so it's worth its price. It's also slimmer and the picture or images look much better. Watching anime using this monitor is so much better, too!

Another feature I like is the Eye saver and flicker-free technology. I don't have very healthy eyes to start with yet I need to face the monitor most of the time because of my job and my hobbies, so these two are very helpful. Although my glasses have blue light filter already, it's also better for my screen to have the same function. :)

This is actually just my third night using the monitor, and I'm enjoying it so much. My eyes don't get tired easily. Also, I can just lie on my sofa while watching anime because the screen is much bigger than my previous monitor. <3

Now, I'm excited to receive the office chair for a much more comfortable work and hobby experience!!! <3 Also, I'd need to save money again... and perhaps with the help of HIVE, I can upgrade my CPU little by little. I'd need my best friend's help for it as he's more knowledgeable about it. It would be awesome if I could play some games on my PC someday, too... but more than that, I just want it to have more memory and work faster than now. <3 We'll see. I'd definitely update you when the time comes, but it wouldn't be in the near future... unless HIVE goes to the moon! haha

Thanks for checking this post out! I appreciate it! Have a great one! (^^,)/ See you~!
