OLD BARN № 072

This little barn (or shed?) appears to be home to a variety of gardening implements as well as serving as a shelter for the firewood that the landowner has cut and stored.

I can't quite tell if the structure is really leaning, or if it looks like that because of the way the land gently slopes at the back side. The roof is definitely warped a bit. The sagging of the roof in a couple of places is probably due to the ground settling underneath the building, so perhaps it is nearing the end of its life.

I imagine a tractor was probably once parked underneath the open area, where the wood is stored today, and the enclosed area stored axes, hoes, shovels, and other implements.

This barn is in the same general vicinity as the last few barns I have featured, as seen in the following aerial view. This barn is near the top of the shot on the right-hand side. Numbers indicate barns that have already been featured in my blog, and the white dots indicate barns that have yet to make their appearance here.

It has been so much fun finding these old buildings and documenting them!
