Merry Christmas !!!

I know the year has been turbulent for most people and I think this year has been one of these years nobody can ever forget, no matter how they lived through the pandemic. For each and every one of us, it's been a year with questions, not knowing what the future will bring and how long this is going to last exactly.

I hope every person reading this will find their light and stay as positive as they can be, sending out good vibrations to those that are struggling mentally and/or physically. I know it can be hard and challenging, but let's take a moment to think about the little things in life we should appreciate and be grateful for those. This has helped me cope during the pandemic and I hope it works for others as well.

Christmas eve was busy for us Santa-helpers. We had to label all the gifts and pack the magic wand I made for our daughter. She wanted one for a while and I decided to make one for her, it wasn't finished until yesterday, so I almost forgot to pack it as the other gifts were already packed and labeled. I won't spoil the fun in this post, there will be a tutorial of this craft, as I think it's definitely worth it!

I also wanted to share this (now) funny thing my daughter did two days ago. I was pretty angry as I spent so many hours on the house already, but at the same time, both my boyfriend and I couldn't stop laughing either as we envisioned how she was secretly enjoying loads of sugar!

Trying to restore the icicles on the house:

You can imagine how that felt that morning, waking up seeing this.. There was little untouched and I had to reconstruct most parts of the house (the icing parts). At this point, I was so glad that I glued the parts of the house together because I'm quite sure it could have collapsed when she was trying to break off the icing.

Luckily, I had plenty of icing left and decided not to be grumpy all day and just fix it. She felt sorry and her sugar rush wasn't as bad as I expected when I saw the amount of icing missing. All ended well :)

For now, enjoying family time and tonight having a nice Christmas dinner!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!! It's hard not to get a little mad when you worked so hard on something and someone messes with it. hey, when a kid needs some sugar... a kid needs some sugar LOL Them kids, always testing our patients. I hope you have a great time with your family and enjoy a good food coma after Christmas dinner.
cheers

Thank you! Yes, it was hard to remain calm, but I think I managed it good enough as I just started covering up the missing parts quickly and noticed it was going to be fine. I was mostly very scared for her having a huge sugar rush and being out of control later, it's the exact reason we avoid chocolate and a lot of sugar for her, as she doesn't thrive well with those ;) But it's a nice story we will remember every Christmas :) I'm sure :)

Kids will be kids, and honestly, I'm surprised that it took that many days as she could have done this a few other mornings when she woke up early ;)

I wish you the same! Cheers!

Hahaha kids! At least she didn't have the sugar rush I would have thought she'd have!

Yes, at least it's a nice story to think back off every single year with Christmas from now on :)

And yeah, so glad that sugar rush wasn't as horrible as expected! I was quite afraid of that lol..

Merry Christmas!
