Lightpainting: Pokemon Red

Today's lightpainting exercise comes courtesy of my son's Pokemon Red, and his best buddy Pikachu.

I'm far more familiar with Ash and Ash's Pikachu that this bloke, but my son assures me this is a legitimate character. Who knew? (Apparently he did)

These figurines are really nice, well detailed and well manufactured. Definitely not a toy.

And of course, what Pikachu would be complete without lightning bolts coming out of its cheeks?

I haven't figured out light painting yet, but, I have to say, I like the effects of the focus on it like that. Really snappy shots.

Who knew? Kids know everything. Then they turn into teens. It's all downhill from there.

Have a super Sunday! I think I will wander over to YouTube.

It's true! About the kids. No one should have teenagers. LOL!

Thank you for the compliment! I keep looking for more things to photograph like this, and so far I've been pretty successful!

My 14 year old son has gotten a few of these for gifts and he really likes them. I honestly thought he was going to be bored of them really quickly, but he surprised me.
