ANIMAL PRODUCTION // BIRDS(BROILERS) ENVIRONMENT NEEDS TO BE KEPT CLEAN TO KEEP THEM OFF DISEASE LIKE "COCCIDIOSIS "

Good day to all #Hive members all over globe. You are all keeping cool. It's a beautiful day here. Do you know when birds feed from their drinkers, their drinkers must be kept clean almost every time. Here is the reason, when their domile is dirty and congested it might cause a disease called coccidiosis. Now, you need to keep watch because this cogestion mostly occur inside their drinkers, so if they contnually drink from the water inside their drinkers they will develop coccidiosis.

WHAT IS COCCIDIOSIS?

Coccidiosis is a parasite or more like a disease that affect intestinal tract of birds caused by coccidian protozoa most especially when their environment isn't clean.

HOW CAN ONE PREVENT COCCIDIOSIS?

One of major way to prevent birds from coccidiosis is by cleaning their drinkers most of the time.

You can see their shit inbetween their drinkers. So they need to be washed and their water be changed. I do this almost every 6hours interval.

Its not easy to rear broilers to say the least. 😪😪😪
