"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."- 2 Timothy 2:15

I am just going to use the sports of boxing to drive home my point of the post and hope someone gets it for when they have to get into the ring.

The above scripture verse has in it a billion reasons why no man should be a sluggard. When/if you fail to study you will definitely fail to get things done well.

Blessed!

A successful boxer does not win or score a knockout because he got dressed up in his fancy trunks and boots; the size and weight of his gloves doesn't matter as well. What matters is his ability to study his opponent, the scoring system, the punch combos and the various strategies available.

A boxer with the ability to study his opponents and the scoring system is definitely going to win or score some knockouts in his fights.
Sports has a certain level of discipline that allows the individual to get ahead with results.

Life is a bout that needs winners and losers and to win means you have to know what to expect, what to do with what you have seen and how to dispense your strategies to achieve results.

The bible tells us that, we must study to show ourselves approved to God so we become a workman that will not end up in shame.
A lazy man will end up in shame because, he who does not work must not eat,

6. "Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise"
7. "Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler",
8. "Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest."- Proverbs 6:6-8

Mohammad Ali became one of the greatest boxers of all time because, he put in work and spent days, weeks, and lots of his time studying the game, his opponents and the scoring system and he did show himself approved and we still talk about him till date.

Make the world a better place for someone today!
