GOD IS OUR ROCK OF AGES

PSALM 18:1-2
For the choirmaster. Of David the servant of the LORD, who sang this song to the LORD on the day the LORD had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said: I love You, O LORD, my strength.
The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
God is our rock,
God is our shield,
God is our strength and refuge.
I will not fear,
I will not run,
For he is always with me.
Be still and know,
That he is god,
Always the same,
Now and tomorrow.
In times of trouble, God is our shield. He is the rock of Ages. He is strong and dependable. In Him, we can lean on for support and be sure that He never breaks.
He is always there to protect us from the storms of life. He never changes and s such, we can rely on Him for help in our stormy days.
God is our source of blessing and as such, in times of famine, we should learn to rely on His supply and provision for our lives.
Rocks are solid in nature and as such, God is the Solid Rock we can hold on to in times where everything seems to be shifting around us.
It is in Him we can hide for shelter and refuge. God is everlasting, He changes not. He fights for and on our behalf.
It is only in God that we can build our lives and be sure that we are in a safe place for He is a solid foundation. No foundation is best for our lives except God who is the solid rock because He keeps us grounded and strong.
PSALM 18:31
There is no God except the Lord. There is no Rock except our God.
He is our security. He is the only rock that will sharpen us and make us more effective. He is our source of strength in times of trouble or danger. Anyone who runs to Him for shelter is always safe and secured. He is our safest dwelling place. Even in times of this COVID-19, He soothes our fears.
Because He is our rock, this His promise for our lives.
PSALM 92:1-16
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
He is our weapon and strong refuge. Remember this, that only those who call upon Him or run to Him are safe and secured.
Do nnot be worried, do not be dismay, just stand still and watch Him.
