WE ARE NO MORE SLAVES TO SIN

Apostle Paul combines liberation through the law of the spirit of life with the death of Jesus Christ . He further explained that the law of the spirit of life, which is the source of a new life in Christ Jesus librated us from the law of sin and death. The price Jesus paid on the cross changes the lives of believers. This was necessary, for there was something the law couldn't do but that was accomplished through Christ. Paul made this illustrations to clarify the meaning of "the law of the spirit of life librated me from the law of sin and death.

There is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus The word "now" there is used to announce the arrival of the new (Christ), settling the issue of condemnation of the law that was brought upon by the disobedience of Adam. Adam's fall made us became sinners and death began to rule over us, but Christ came with a liberating power to set us free.
So those who are in Christ as passed from dead to life.

Because through Christ the law of the spirit of life as set us free from the law of sin and death. The law under the flesh leads to death, but the law under the power of spirit, leads to a new life in Christ. Christ delivered us from the curse of sin and death.
According to Paul, the law of God has been abused by sin. Humans misused it by seeking God's forgiveness through the workings of the law, that's the law of sin and death. The law of the spirit leads to eternal life, not the flesh.

LAW, CHRIST, SPIRIT

The problem, was not the law itself but the weakness of the flesh (Rom 8:3). The law was powerless, because the flesh couldn't satisfied the demands of the law. So Christ has to step in, the solution for our justification was the sacrificial death of the son of God, who condemned sin in the flesh, and redeemed us from the condemnation of the law, and making us to live in union with God through the spirit.

Christ died for us, in order to fulfill the righteous requirement of the law to us. He was made to be sin for us, who knew no sin. We are no longer a slave to sin but we are children of God. Sin has no power over us anymore, we are the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ who died for us.
hallelujah
