1 Juan 3: 1-18
1 Mirad cuál amor nos ha dado el Padre, para que seamos llamados hijos de Dios; por esto el mundo no nos conoce, porque no le conoció a él.
2 Amados, ahora somos hijos de Dios, y aún no se ha manifestado lo que hemos de ser; pero sabemos que cuando él se manifieste, seremos semejantes a él, porque le veremos tal como él es.
3 Y todo aquel que tiene esta esperanza en él, se purifica a sí mismo, así como él es puro.
4 Todo aquel que comete pecado, infringe también la ley; pues el pecado es infracción de la ley.
5 Y sabéis que él apareció para quitar nuestros pecados, y no hay pecado en él.
6 Todo aquel que permanece en él, no peca; todo aquel que peca, no le ha visto, ni le ha conocido.
7 Hijitos, nadie os engañe; el que hace justicia es justo, como él es justo.
8 El que practica el pecado es del diablo; porque el diablo peca desde el principio. Para esto apareció el Hijo de Dios, para deshacer las obras del diablo.
9 Todo aquel que es nacido de Dios, no practica el pecado, porque la simiente de Dios permanece en él; y no puede pecar, porque es nacido de Dios.
10 En esto se manifiestan los hijos de Dios, y los hijos del diablo: todo aquel que no hace justicia, y que no ama a su hermano, no es de Dios.
11 Porque este es el mensaje que habéis oído desde el principio: Que nos amemos unos a otros.
12 No como Caín, que era del maligno y mató a su hermano. ¿Y por qué causa le mató? Porque sus obras eran malas, y las de su hermano justas.
13 Hermanos míos, no os extrañéis si el mundo os aborrece.
14 Nosotros sabemos que hemos pasado de muerte a vida, en que amamos a los hermanos. El que no ama a su hermano, permanece en muerte.
15 Todo aquel que aborrece a su hermano es homicida; y sabéis que ningún homicida tiene vida eterna permanente en él.
16 En esto hemos conocido el amor, en que él puso su vida por nosotros; también nosotros debemos poner nuestras vidas por los hermanos.
17 Pero el que tiene bienes de este mundo y ve a su hermano tener necesidad, y cierra contra él su corazón, ¿cómo mora el amor de Dios en él?
18 Hijitos míos, no amemos de palabra ni de lengua, sino de hecho y en verdad.

Un cristiano que poseía una gran fortuna oro públicamente pidiendo que Dios ayudara a varias personas que tenían necesidades económicas. Mientras volvían a su hogar, su hijito de 5 años le dijo: "Papá, quisiera tener parte del dinero que posees para contestar tus oraciones". El padre se dio cuenta de la importancia de estar dispuesto a ser parte de la respuesta. Muchas veces los cristianos somos muy declarativos; decimos que amamos, pero no hacemos nada para aliviar el dolor de los demás. Cuando alguien nos dice que tiene un problema le respondemos que vamos a orar por él en vez de ayudarlo.
Dios desea que intercedamos por otras personas y por instituciones pidiendo por lo que necesitan, pero solo responderá cuando estemos dispuestos a ser la respuesta a nuestra propia oración. "En esto conocemos lo que es el amor: en que Jesucristo entrego su vida por nosotros. Así también nosotros debemos entregar nuestra vida por nuestros hermanos". Muchas oraciones nunca fueron respondidas porque los que debían hacer su 'parte no la hicieron. Dios responde milagrosamente cuando no hay ninguna posibilidad humana para resolver el problema. Pero cuando la solución esta en las manos y en los bolsillos de sus hijos, Dios les mostrara a tales personas lo que deben hacer.¡Que hermoso es pensar que podemos llegar a ser la mano proveedora de Dios para bendecir a personas e instituciones cristianas!.
Lo desafió para que desde hoy,al orar por personas e instituciones que tienen necesidades, lo haga con la disposición de ser el medio por el cual Dios responderá.
Considere que Dios quiere bendecir a través suyo

7 Little children, let no one deceive you; he who does justice is just, as he is just.
8 He who practices sin is of the devil; because the devil sins from the beginning. For this the Son of God appeared, to undo the works of the devil.
9 Everyone who is born of God does not practice sin, because the seed of God remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10 In this are manifested the children of God, and the children of the devil: everyone who does not do justice, and who does not love his brother, is not of God.
11 For this is the message you have heard from the beginning: that we love one another.
12 Not like Cain, who was of the evil one and killed his brother. And for what reason did he kill him? Because his works were bad, and his brother's were just.
13 My brothers, do not be surprised if the world hates you.
14 We know that we have passed from death to life, in that we love the brothers. He who does not love his brother remains in death.
15 Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life permanent in him.
16 In this we have known love, in which he laid down his life for us; We also have to put our lives for our brothers.
17 But whoever has the goods of this world and sees his brother in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God dwell in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in fact and in truth.
A Christian who owned a large fortune prayed publicly asking God to help various people in financial need. On the way home, her 5-year-old son said, "Dad, I would like to have some of the money you have to answer your prayers." The father realized the importance of being willing to be part of the answer. Christians are often very declarative; We say we love, but we do nothing to ease the pain of others. When someone tells us they have a problem, we reply that we are going to pray for them instead of helping them.
God wants us to intercede for other people and for institutions asking for what they need, but He will only respond when we are willing to be the answer to our own prayer. "In this we know what love is: that Jesus Christ gave his life for us. In this way we must also give our lives for our brothers." Many prayers were never answered because those who were to do their part did not do it. God miraculously responds when there is no human possibility to solve the problem. But when the solution is in the hands and pockets of his children, God will show such people what to do. How beautiful it is to think that we can become God's providing hand to bless Christian people and institutions!.
He challenged him so that from today, when praying for people and institutions that have needs, he does so with the disposition to be the means by which God will respond.
