New Year's Celebration || Pictures To Show
Seriously, I didn't think I'll be too busy to the extent of not being able to share how my days have been since I got back from school... It has been so busy and I finally got a breathing space just yesterday (New year day).
Breaking News!!! I've been called to resume school tomorrow 😭 just when I finally got my breathing space? Is that even fair to a lazy and soft girl like me? 😢
Well aside that, it has been an awesome holiday for me and I'm so grateful for everything. The new year celebration started off very well for me as there was a love get together on the day before new year day, it was superb.
I don't have pictures from the get together but I do have some for the new year's day movement.
It started off at a close family place where I took that picture, we were welcomed very warmly and served with delicious fried rice, salad and fried chicken. @khaleesii and @samostically I waited in vain for you guys to bring me some but ate a lot of it later 😝
Okay, I thought from that place that I would go visit another close friend but guess what! I went to sleep for almost three hours 😂 all the stress from last year crept in and made me weak after I ate that delicious meal. Honestly, I don't regret it at all and I'm so glad I had a good rest during the day.
I woke up to hear about a surprise outing, you know that feeling of "Seems my rest paid off" because I was so ready for any outing after the sleep.
We got ready and went to a bar where different dishes are served. I posted this picture on my status with the caption "Outside" 😂 because I was outside but that's a slang in Nigeria to say "Flexing time". I took a lot of pictures but it was dark so they aren't so clear, I hope you'll manage to see the ones I drop here.
Do you know what that is? 😋 It's an igbo prepared food called Nkwobi, @mrenglish I hope I spelt it correctly 🙈 by the way, it was so delicious and I had a blast last night with it. There are pictures but not on my phone and I'm not sure I want to share pictures of me devouring those meats 😂 but here is one of them 🙈
That was how my new year celebration went, there were more but I'll stop here. I do have a lot of gist about my holiday, maybe I'll share them later when I'm back to school 😒
