Playing to Your Strengths on HIVE

You will hear me say or read, how my time is limited and it's mostly because I do have an employer, I have an instant family when I moved in with my fiancé and her boys, seven years ago, soon to be married to her, in less than a week and my health and fitness journey, which is non-negotiable. My workouts and participation in running events have to be part of my daily routine at a minimum five days a week if not six.

I never reiterate those things above to offer up any excuses, it's quite the opposite, because I actually prove on a daily basis that nothing really stops me from being active on HIVE. I haven't missed a day, since I went all in on my passion for this blockchain and it's community.

Where it gets a little tricky for me, is that proverbial bringing value to the blockchain that creates a bit of a mental fuck for me.

If you were to ask me, what I want to get out of HIVE - my answer today, is a sincere answer: What I want to get out of HIVE (long-term) is the opportunity to retire comfortably, but more importantly, I want to be an influential part of the ongoing growth on this blockchain.

But, influence has to have some sort of impact behind it and that is what I grapple with and that's ok, because I know eventually; there will be a nook for me to make that impact.

For now, I'm playing to my strength and that is simply - Being Myself.

Social Media has always fit very well in my zone, because off line I have a great line of relationships. I'm blessed that folks gravitate to me and want me around. It's been like that most of my life, if not all of it. I always wonder why, because I am so obsessive with my space. If you invade my space, I become a tyrant lol.

Anyway, when I took the whole health and fitness path very seriously it was a huge help to become part of a community. Working out under the orange lights with amazing people, being coached by awesome teachers and interacting with wonderful staff every time Tiffany and I walk into one of the fitness studios is beyond words.

When I integrated into the worldwide OTF community on social media it gave me insight on how to truly grow a following and meet so many people along the way. It is great visiting different studios here in Florida or outside of it like places in Chicago, Texas and Washington, DC and people actually knowing who Tiffany and I are and welcoming us with open arms - all because of the community and the impact of social media.

On my second tour of trying to have a side hustle online, being a CLICK.TRACK.PROFIT member was a HUGE foundation to not only knowing how powerful it is to build relationships, but to have the opportunity to earn rewards by creating content, engaging and investing all under one roof on a blockchain!

Now, I'm looking at two concrete avenues to build on.

Entrepreneurship and Social Media.

I'm still trying to find a sweet spot.

Then I realize, why am I complicating things?

Whatever I'm doing is working for me with the time I have.

Nothing beats having an all in attitude for something you are passionate about.

Think about the canvas that the HIVE blockchain truly is.

Your one passion could be your voice on this blockchain.

OR

multiple things you are passionate about.

Whatever it is, you can write about it - long form or short form. You can podcast it. You can use video - long for or short form.

You can go all in on gaming or trading cards.

You can invest. You can build. You can create.

You can engage, you can build your own community.

I mean it's fucking endless.

There are many what if's in my lifetime.

To have the opportunity we have on the HIVE blockchain with the freedom to build something meaningful for you, your family and for this community is possible and MONUMENTAL.

I'll continue to ponder what will be my ultimate claim to fame on HIVE, but for now, I'll just be me. It's not so bad.
