The HIVE Experience

Today, this amazing blockchain with an awesome community get to celebrate another hard fork and admittedly, I'm not an expert on any of it, but...

When things like this happens. that is beyond my scope of understanding and as I work on catching up to get it through my thick skull, I go by my fellow HIVER's enthusiasm or lack thereof (I like to get both sides of things).

If the community is looking forward to it and I read the comments on the pros and cons of it then that is how I pick up on the things that I will be able to control or not control.

As a community member, if folks are happy then I get excited. That allows me to breathe easier and know that we are progressing to bigger and better things - as a blockchain and a community.

My experience on HIVE has always been driven by community first and foremost. It's been the single most important aspect and why I keep on coming each and everyday.

Yes, when I first came onboard it was with a traditional online marketer's mindset and the search for earning some extra scratch, some cheddar, some moolah.

That dissipated quickly, as I saw the POWER of community on HIVE.

Just like many, I had my trepidations about crypto and let's face it; knew shit about it.

The smartest move I made was taking my CTP membership more seriously and getting the lay of the land when it came to this blockchain.

Prior to all this, when following leaders like @jongolson there was an emphasis on community and engaging to grow an online business.

Those words are more profound on the a blockchain like HIVE, because even if you bring some of the bad habits that didn't work off-chain; you will quickly learn how useless they are here.

So, knowing the VALUE of community and having the experience of being part of a HUGE community where I exercise most days the last 8 years plus, it was easy to settle in on HIVE.

When you feel part of something that is bigger than you, but you are able to contribute to it's EVOLUTION in ways large or small; that is some POWERFUL shit.

At the same time, we MUST NOT take the developers on HIVE for granted and let me tell you, I sure as hell do not.

If I drill it down to just being part of The CTP Swarm community and see the work they put into everything they provide members without a huge contingent of developers behind them, astonishes me daily.

In a grander scale, look at everything from the folks behind Actifit, Brofund, Dbuzz, Ecency, @leofinance, Liketu, Hivelist, Stickupboys, Threespeak and @wearealive. This is just a few of the MANY other platforms that deserve props on top of props on top of props.

I'm totally fan of all these people, because they are producing quality and providing their communities and others with VALUE. It's important to always remember the folks behind the scenes that are kicking ass daily.

When there is talk about use cases, then that completes the trifecta of what the HIVE experience provides.

So, we have a hardcore community that are blogging on @ecency, @peakd or the dozens of blogging platforms on HIVE.

Not blogging? Well, they are microblogging on @dbuzz or on LEO threads!

What about podcasts? Dude, we have "The Cryptomaniacs" every Tuesdays and Fridays with hosts Jonny Coin and @taskmaster4450le

Videos? Did you say videos? Ummm Duh. @threespeak

Hey gamers! DCrop, Rising Star and Splinterlands!!

Instagram who?! We got @liketu

MUSIC? Did you say music?? @stickupboys got you, @blocktunes is in effect!!

We also got my fellow Latinos killing it on HIVE. Use Case? I mean, what I see the Hispanic community produce EVERYDAY is astounding.

Everything from amazing content to meetups to exceptional videos @threespeak-es is very impactful. Talk about spreading the word about HIVE, it's hard for me to believe there is anyone doing it better and bigger!! @eddiespino and @lunaticanto are just two of MANY influential HIVERS - gracias por todo lo que hacen!

There are so many people and projects that can fill up 1000 blog posts to cover everyone and everything that provides the most amazing experiences being part of HIVE and I didn't even mention the earnings, the investing and the rewards.

Anyway, Happy HIVE Hard Fork 26 - EVOLUTION!
