Boulder Sunday

When I went outside early this morning it definitely felt more like Autumn than Summer.
A brisk, cool, and refreshing wind prevailed all day.
The early morning blue sky decorated with wonderful clouds fashioned a lovely Boulder Sunday day.
I poured some fresh hot coffee in my thermos, located my warm vest I had packed away.
Feeling good about the day and excited to take some pictures down by the river.

You're welcome @annephilbrick👍🙂
Gorgeous photographs ❤ @annephilbrick! Love the blues and greens
with those nice dark big boulders! You have a wealth of them!
Coffee and rocks go good together! A big nip in the air by night
here and a tad bit of leaves starting to change! :-)
Is the white part of the rocks on the bottoms when turned over?
🌞❤
Thank You...!!
@Shasta
The leaves are starting to turn here too🍁.
I'm not sure why there is variation and discoloration in the big rocks. I didn't turn them over. I'm thinking it might because the water rises and all the rocks are covered with water and then the water drops and then it's exposed to the sun.
Or maybe different minerals in the rocks.🤔.
I'm totally curious myself..!!!
Another thought...the rocks are porous. Maybe they are absorbing something from the water.
