Wild Flower Delight

Early this evening I was walking around outside my cabin admiring and enjoying some nearby perennials.
I had a lentil soup on the stove slowly simmering so I had to stay close by. A stroll around outside was a perfect while waiting for my dinner to be cooked.

~Chives~

They are so pretty and pollinators 🐝 love them too.
Chives are edible and absolutely delicious. They are in the onion family. If you like onions you'll definitely love fresh Chives.

~Comfrey~
A very fast growing perennial with medicinal value. The pollinators really love the flowers. Out of the many things I have growing this is definitely top of the list a favourite of all the pollinators 🐝.
The Bumblebees were very busy visiting the Comfrey blossoms today and gathering up nectar.

They are not easy to take pictures of. They are in constant motion.

One of my all time favourite wild flowers. I have so many fond memories of picking them and surprising my Grandmother with a bouquet. I have quite a few of them growing wild here at my cabin but there was millions and millions of them growing in the fields on my Grandparents farm. From a little girls perspective.

~Clover ~

My lawn is currently blanketed with clover blossoms. A couple of weeks ago my lawn was decorated with yellow Dandelion flowers.
