Tifaine #4 (Infrared Photography)
Hi everyone,
Here's another shot made during a very nice session with Tifaine during summer 2018.
We had a blast during that very hot day and it's really a pity we didn't manage to make a night session together.
1/250s 30mm f/8 100 ISO
Infrared shot created in real time, captured to the camera in one single photographic frame.
No layers /no Photoshop / no editing exept minor adjustments and addition of my logo.
To get that "gold" effect on foiliage and "recover" a blue sky, I swapped the color channels.
Specs :
Canon EOS 600D Full Spectrum body
Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS II USM lens
Hoya 25A filter (590nm)

That's awesome! I really want to try IR sometime soon. Looks too fun!
Thanks!
You can try by using a regular camera and a long exposure shot at first (if your camera allows it) and make a camera conversion if you get hooked 😉
It is very funny and allows to see the world differently.
I've done a little research into camera conversion previously. Did you convert your camera yourself?
Nope, because it's really tricky. A buddy of mine made it a couple of years ago, it took 8 hours for the entire process.
In France we're lucky because we have a really good specialist who gives a 6 months guarantee for his job.
