The last rays of light grace the summit of Lingtren (6749m or 22,142 ft). It sits about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) in a direct line from Mount Everest in the Mahalangur Himal area of the Himalaya. First climbed in 1935, the summit of Lingtren forms part of on the international border between Nepal and the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. I took this shot on assignment for a treking company way back ion 2004. It was taken on Fuji Velvia slide film; at the time digital cameras did not fare well at altitude and we had no way to charge batteries for over month on the assignment.

Hive is just poping its head up to 26 cents; wonder if we are about to join the alt party? Steem always went late and hard with the SBD pump feedback loop. It will be interesting to watch how Hive does and if HBD can stay stable on the upside (where there is no control mechanism).

Did you edit a bit or is the snow really that vibrantly white? And did you have to time this one or were the clouds nice and slow and everything just worked out right? :D
