Are 'no attack' monsters useful in battles?

Hi friends!

Steemmonster games require powerful cards, summoners and good strategy to win battles. Monsters have melee, ranged and magic attacks. But, some monsters have no such capacity. They are 'no attack' monster. Are no attack monsters useful?

I... don't... play... Splinterlands.

However, on other card games I have played before, "no-attack" cards better known as "support cards" help a lot in the team.

Sometimes, they just make a good tank with certain rulesets. The Peaceful Giant is a good example of that. When it's maxed out and has like 17 life points and you've got a Back to Basics battle, it comes in handy. With a high enough mana cap, some of those cards can still be a good tank if you set up the right attackers behind it. Basically, they can buy you a few rounds of protection.
