The healing power of the sea (ESP-ENG)

La naturaleza es hermosa, sabia y muy generosa. Es una de las bendiciones que como seres humanos podemos disfrutar sin precio alguno. Ella está siempre para todos y, muchas veces, somos indiferentes ante su belleza y abundancia, y la maltratamos. En ocasiones, le causamos daños irreparables y ella no puede más que defenderse. El llamado es a procurarle, en todo momento, cuidado y protección para poder disfrutar de la fortuna que tenemos ante nuestros ojos. Todo lo que ha sido creado es para nuestra convivencia en armonía con ella. La naturaleza nos regala sus bendiciones para nuestro sustento, nos regala el sol, la lluvia, las flores, el cielo, el mar y mucho más.

Hoy quiero escribir estas líneas al mar porque es una de las dádivas más hermosas y buenas que nos ha regalado Dios. Para mí, el mar siempre es una medicina. Es la que puede aliviar tanto los males del cuerpo como los del alma. Mi espíritu se regocija frente a su inmensidad, su canción me alegra la vida y estar frente a él me da paz y tranquilidad.

Nature is beautiful, wise, and very generous. It is one of the blessings that we as human beings can enjoy without any price. She is always there for everyone and, many times, we are indifferent to her beauty and abundance, and we mistreat her. Sometimes we cause her irreparable damage and she can only defend herself. The call is to provide her, at all times, with care and protection in order to enjoy the fortune that we have before our eyes. Everything that has been created is for our coexistence in harmony with her. Nature gives us her blessings for our sustenance, she gives us the sun, the rain, the flowers, the sky, the sea, and much more.

Today I want to write these lines to the sea because it is one of the most beautiful and good gifts that God has given us. For me, the sea is always medicine. It is the one that can alleviate the ills of the body as well as those of the soul. My spirit rejoices in front of its immensity, its song cheers my life, and being in front of it gives me peace and tranquility.

El mar tiene el poder de curarlo todo. Como mencioné antes, es medicina para el cuerpo y yo puedo dar fe de ello. Creo en su poder sanador porque hace pocos meses, acudí a sus playas a pedirle la sanidad de un ser querido con una afección en la piel.

El primer encuentro fue con respeto y con mucha fe en su poder. Llegábamos muy temprano, ahí estaba él esperándonos, quieto, azul e inmenso. Sumergirme en sus aguas de la mano de mi ser querido fue una experiencia espiritual y en mi interior solo le pedía el alivio a sus males. Tomaba, entre mis manos, el agua salada con la certeza de que allí estaba la cura. Él la necesitaba.

The sea has the power to heal everything. As I mentioned before, it is medicine for the body and I can attest to that. I believe in its healing power because a few months ago, I went to its beaches to ask for the healing of a loved one with a skin condition.

The first meeting was with respect and with great faith in his power. We arrived very early, there he was waiting for us, still, blue and immense. To submerge me in its waters hand in hand with my loved one was a spiritual experience and in my heart, I only asked him for relief from his ailments. I took the saltwater in my hands with the certainty that the cure was there. He needed it.

Cada encuentro con el mar me ratificaba que estaba recibiendo de su bondad y que la mejoría venía poco a poco. Fueron días de una terapia natural que nos conectaba con la energía perfecta de la naturaleza y del mar. A través de mis manos y el agua salada y bendita del mar ese cuerpo frágil y desesperado, encontró alivio y mejoró un poco. Todavía persiste su enfermedad, pero agradezco al mar la mejoría y la tranquilidad que pudo disfrutar aquellos días. Siguen pendientes más encuentros sanadores, mientras tanto, agradezco al mar su poder y me aferro a él, como la medicina natural que nos puede aliviar a todos.

Each encounter with the sea confirmed that I was receiving from its best and that the improvement was coming little by little. These were days of natural therapy that connected us with the perfect energy of nature and the sea. Through my hands and the salty and blessed water of the sea, that fragile and desperate body found relief and improved a little. His illness still persists, but I thank the sea for the improvement and the tranquility he was able to enjoy those days. More healing encounters are still pending, meanwhile, I thank the sea for its power and I cling to it as the natural medicine that can relieve us all.
