Interesting food for thought. This statement took my breathe away with its profoundly simple truth.
We've built a society that requires constant growth forever. When constant growth happens in the human body, we call it cancer.
Looking at capitalistic society through this lens makes clear that a new vision for the future is essential, and imminent, either by force or by intentional choice. This modern life is not sustainable.

Sure! Disasters will keep coming til we learn that GROWTH as the main indicator of success makes us a parasite on the earth, which naturally we are not. As a species, we cannot afford to be children anymore. The “adults” need to grow up
Yes! It boggles my mind that so many "adults" are walking around with the child archetype, and making decisions that impact all of us based on an immature thought-process. I feel the heavy responsibility of ensuring my sons do not become the entitled "manbabies" I see around me. And I wonder just how to help them grow into true manhood. Maybe it's the right-of-passage that we are missing in modern society that could signal to our egos that it is time to grow up and move forward... 🌱
