Home remedy - lemon and honey tea

Hello friends of @naturalmedicine, today I want to share with you a natural remedy with a very delicious flavor.


This medicine or natural remedy is very healthy, it is a delicious tea, for those rainy days, where the cold wins the battle, and in which we are tired or congested and a little exhausted by light rains; Tea is our best ally to reduce discomfort a little, and it is even very relaxing.

Extraordinary combination of flavors and reliever of those discomforts caused by the common cold and general malaise.

Natural ingredients for tea:

  • Lemon.
  • Honey.
  • Water.

Easy and quick to prepare, a very soothing tea; The procedure is very simple, it is done as follows:

  • We cut the lemons that we are going to use in half, in this case, two lemons were used, corresponding to a cup of tea. Also, if you want the infusion to be stronger, you can use more lemons.

  • We squeeze, you can use a small strainer, to make the tea less lumpy.

  • Then add enough water to a small pot for a cup of tea.

  • It is brought to a moderate fire, so that it heats to the necessary point, to be able to calmly drink the infusion, from the lemon and honey tea.

  • While the water is heating, the honey is added to the glass that already contains the lemon juice.

  • Beat the honey and lemon mezca with a teaspoon, while waiting for the warm water.

  • We add the amount of water that we create considerable for our tea, and it is ready. We mix, if you want you can add a point of sugar, but with honey it would not be necessary.

The procedure is not difficult at all, just three simple ingredients, which will make the common cold and that little general discomfort disappear little by little.

Note: You cannot drink water after drinking warm tea. Preferably drink it before bed.

Such a classic combination @cindycam! YUM. Health AND taste! 😊 Where does your honey come from?? It looks much like the wild local honey we buy here in Northern Thailand in recycled whiskey bottles. 😆

Sometimes, I make honey and lemon for my daily infused water beside Gingger, apple or dates for my infused water. It's truly make our body feel better if routine consume.
