When there are digestive problems like diarrhea the first thing I do is looking for guava leaves, wash them clean and chew them. Guava leaves are not only used as a treatment for digestive problems and also relieve pain in sensitive teeth, the guava leaves also useful for nourishing the scalp and hair. With Analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties, guava leaves being popular ingredient for maintaining healthy scalp.
High antioxidant content in guava leaves is able to prevent hair loss, increase hair growth, and prevent follicular shrinkage, helps fight free radicals, thus preventing damage to the scalp and hair. Guava leaves also contain lycopene which provides protection from the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays. The content of vitamins B and C is beneficial for healthy follicles, increasing collagen production so that it helps the growth of healthy and faster hair.

Ingredients :
15 guava leaves
1000 ml of water
Directions :
- Wash the guava leaves
- Boil 1000 ml of water.
- Put 15 pieces of guava leaves, then boil ± 20 minutes.
- Filter the water and chill.
Then use the boiled water of guava leaves as a hair mask with a gentle massage for 10 minutes to improve blood circulation in the brain and increase the relaxing effect, cover the head with a towel, let stand ± 60 minutes then rinse with warm water until clean.

Funnily enough I have been planning to get some guava seeds planted because the green guavas we have here in Thailand are such a solid, filling and nutritional food source. Something I think we're all gonna need in the future, more and more.
But maybe just toss the guava fruit away and focus on the leaves?? 🤣 Cos YEES they are amazing stomach medicine, among other things. I shall mention this post to my half-Thai daughter @ploimrt who is somewhat obsessed with having shinier hair. 😊
