Exercise as a vital element...

Most of us want to be healthy, to lead a healthy life, to be in shape, but the reality is that "The Majority " does nothing to make that happen, especially exercise, ah many are lazy to do it, they prefer to lie down and be completely sedentary.

Many people want to be fit but do not want to make sacrifices, they expect to wake up with the best body overnight, but we know that is not the reality. You have to make sacrifices to get what you want. For example, giving up junk food, limiting candy, increasing fruit and vegetable intake, and of course exercising.

There are many countries that have a high rate of overweight and obesity, so exercise is our best ally to fight with them, not only must we want it but we must take action, realize our plan of objectives, and know that overnight we do not achieve anything, we must be constant in order to achieve real change.

First of all we have to take into account our health, and if we want to start with another routine it is important to go to our doctor in case there is any basic disease. If not, we can start by doing 20-30 minutes of exercise daily. If it is a very difficult task at the beginning, we can start with small goals, go up the stairs instead of the elevator, go for a walk, etc.

¿How can we motivate ourselves to make the exercise more enjoyable?, mainly by choosing something we like, we can ride our bikes, jump rope, watch videos to guide us, swim, in short, we have options.

If we want we can invite someone to keep us company, vary the exercises so we don't get bored, also we can plan different series and do exercises based on our muscles, so every day we would touch a different muscle group.

Look for the best time of day, stay motivated, know that at first we will feel some pain but it is normal, so we must not let down our guard, making a schedule of activities to follow our progress is also a good resource to stay active.

We must focus on making exercise a habit for our lives, performing the exercises at the same time helps us keep our mind focused, record our progress and give us more energy every day, it's all about setting goals that we can meet, either in the medium or long term but be constant.

Now, ¿But what benefits does exercise leave us?

It keeps our hearts healthy, there's less risk of heart disease, diabetes and obesity.

It helps us sleep better.

It contributes to the decrease of anxiety and depression.

It keeps us active and full of energy.

Keeps our muscles, ligaments and tendons in shape.

Slows down aging.

And of course it helps us keep the weight off, (something many people notice).

As we can see exercise should be part of everyone's life, we would be happier people in general, and with fewer ailments.
