Around the World, Aloo Tikki, Khmer Veggie Dip, Collard Greens, Pasta & Mushrooms, And More!!

@JustinParke here with another #plantbased recipe curation featuring chefs from the Natural Medicine Community and the greater Hive blockchain.

🍴 Around The World 🌎

The Natural Medicine Community knows no borders, and this week's curation is a perfect example of the awesome culinary delights our diverse gang of #plantbased chefs are capable of creating. From India to North America, and even Khmer chefs in the Caribbean, we always have something to please the most finicky of taste buds.

@plantstoplanks prepared a very southern US ingredient in a very non-southern way, @sreypov made some awesome Khmer style veggie dip, @caroylynstahl took plated up some awesome pasta, and both @ileart and @thereal.alina made some very appealing potato dishes, and for her multi-tasking talents, I chose @thereal.alina as this week's winner of the 5% beneficiary,

How to Be Curated by PLANT BASED

Use the tags #naturalmedicine #vegan or #plantbased
We don't mind what community you post in - although we prefer you post in the Ecotrain or Natural Medicine communities!
Ensure your recipes are plant based - although we don't preach any diets, this curation would like to focus on plants rather than dairy or meat additions to recipes.
Use clear, well focused photographs - and ORIGINAL content!

Roasted Root Veggie & Cowpea Collard Green Wraps

Collard greens and Georgia are no strangers, but this simple but fresh and seasonal collard green wraps recipe by our Georgian Hive chef is far from the southern way of preparing collard greens.

Most people in the southern US states can't imagine eating collard greens without some sort of pork flavor, but thinking outside the box can lead to awesome creations, and that is exactly what this dish is, an awesome creation that is a way healthier and more delicious than your typical collard greens dish.

🌶️ Roasted Chili & Tomato Veggie Dip 🍅 An Ital Khmer Recipe 🥒

Speaking of thinking outside the box, @sreypov reimagines traditional Cambodian dishes with a #plantbased vision, and the results are never anything less than spectacular. Although Cambodians are a bit squeemish to try fully vegetarian food, this Khmer chef has changed a lot of minds through the years.

A must-have kitchen tool in any Cambodian kitchen is the mortar and pestle, but some modern cooks have been known to cheat with an electric wet grinder, even @sreypov. Whether grinding by hand or machine, this recipe is a sure winner, and a way to get kids to eat some vegetables they normally wouldn't be too thrilled about.

Bow tie pasta with mushrooms and zucchini

@carolynstahl should start a new profile under the moniker @photograchef, because her food posts are always the perfect blend of engaging photography and delicious easy to follow recipes.

This dish has the umami quality she so likes to incorporate in her food, this time from the vegan parmesan cheese which she didn't have to make herself this time. Usually vegan cheese products have nutritional yeast, an ingredient which we have been out of for a year, but an ingredient I highly recommend every #plantbased chef experiment with.

Sesame potato: "My Healing Salad"

Potatoes and South America go together like collard greens and Georgia, and this recipe is sure to satisfy. Just the sight of those fresh herbs sitting on top of the potatoes got my mouth watering, stirring up some ancient Irish craving I have long forgotten.

The recipe is very informative, and she provides the health benefits and nutritional info of the humble potato, as well as sesame seeds, the other featured ingredient in this dish. Sesame seeds are something that makes nearly every dish better, from Chinese stir fries to hamburger buns, and she provides some interesting facts about this tiny flavorful seed.

COOKING Vlog | Spicy Aalu Tikki Recipe !!

(Unsupported https://3speak.co/embed?v=thereal.alina/zdbnncse)
by: @thereal.alina

Off to south Asia for another potato dish, but this time a classic, aloo tikki, a little snack very similar to bonda or vada, other delicious Indian snacks you need to try if you haven't yet. It's not too often we get 3Speak video recipes, so it's always a treat to see our chefs in action.

It looks like she made this video all by herself while managing the cooking, so bravo for the multi-tasking capabilities of this talented chef. I have done so many horrible things to my phone while trying to manage cooking and photography at the same time, and can't even imagine trying to shoot a video while cooking, so hats off to you @thereal.alina.

We hope you get involved with posting lots of yummy #plantbased #vegan #naturalmedicine #ecotrain recipes! Both communities are now also supported by OCD, so good quality posts might also get a little bit of extra love. Stay healthy, stay safe, and stay happy!

Another delicious roundup! Those potatoes have me drooling, as well. As do the other cooks in this kitchen. :)

I barely found your awesome recipe in time before payout, lucky me. Collard greens is one of the few North American veggies I miss when living abroad. I always say I'm gonna get seeds every time I go back home, but I always forget. !ENGAGE 15

Thank you @JustinParke and the mention of the photography as I find it challenging in a place with zero outdoor lighting. That makes me feel better.

Also thanks for taking the time to curate offering amazing recipe ideas for plantbased eaters around the world.

Dark backbrops look nice behind bright plates and colorful food, you're certainly doing something right. Speaking of photography, I'm getting @sreypov whitelisted on Lensy.io at the moment, and she's gonna see if she can sell some of her food and nature photography. If it works out, it could be something you might find some success in too. Bless up! !ENGAGE 25
