I've got food on the brain at the moment, so I won't bore you and instead I'll go finish making dinner and let you get on with enjoying the features.
Things happening in the community.
The garden journal challenge is up and running with @riverflows. She just loves seeing those gardens, so make her week by displaying yours!
This week's ecotrain question of the week asks if we should have children whilst so many kids around the world are suffering. It's quite a fascinating topic, with varying responses already in. Don't forget, you can always respond to any of the prompts at any time.
Some highlights of the week
Over in Cambodia, monsoon season has started, so @amy-goodrich is going through which plants will be happy growing in the unrelenting rainfall.
Isn't winter that time of year where there's little for a farmer to do? Before @buckaroobaby left the city for the homestead, she certainly thought so. She soon learnt otherwise and as winter sets in there is lots to be done in preparation.
Now I'm getting hungry, so let's move in from the garden to the kitchen. For the main course, how about lunch with @carolynstahl as she prepares chayote, corn and lentil salad with tomatillo, avocado dressing.
Then for dessert perhaps we can join @cesarj21 for a pear and ginger compote with cinnamon and honey. Now I'm drooling...
