Veganuary is nearly over, and this will be the last Plant Power curation post before the winners of the raffle are announced.

šŸ„— A #PLANTBASED ABUNDANCE šŸ¤”

Ā  Ā  Ā "Wow!!" is all I can say, because there has been an overwhelming amount of quality #plantbased posts this month, and especially this week. There are so many I couldn't possibly give all the posts the attentiom they deserve, but that is not a negative thing.

Ā  Ā  Ā I think this is testament to the amount of growth our community has undergone lately, especially in all things food-related. Give thanks to all of you #plantbased #naturalmedicine content creators.

Check out the #plantbased tag on HIVE and this month's Veganuary challenge for the chance to win 100 HIVE, reblogs, OCD votes, tweets and more!

You don't have to be an all out vegan, or even pretend you are, but perhaps share with us your #plantbased experiments and thoughts on this topic. Or maybe you could just go all out and give it a go, see how you feel at the end of it!

Ā  Ā  Ā The winner of this week's beneficiary is @carolynstahl. She keeps the culinary gems coming, and hasn't let anything get in the way of sharing a fine #plantbased recipe.

How to Be Curated by PLANT POWER

Use the tags #naturalmedicine #vegan or #plantbased
WE don't mind what community you post in - although we prefer you post in the Ecotrain or Natural Medicine communities!
Ensure your recipes are plant based - although we don't preach any diets, this curation would like to focus on plants rather than dairy or meat additions to recipes.
Use clear, well focused photographs - and ORIGINAL content!

Pizza Bread

by: @blackberryskunk

Ā  Ā  Ā What can I say other than this chef has really started off her Natural Medicine Community chefery with a bang!! There is no question she is a legendary #plantbased chef, and this pizza bread is just one example of her many fine culinary creations.

Ā  Ā  Ā The opening line in this post mentions how portable this dish is, specifically being ready for well-suited for a backpack or container. This had me imagining myself whipping out this pizza bread on public transport, causing everyone to marvel at the finest portable dining they've ever seen.

Tea for two with homemade chai tea and pina colada panna cotta - dairy free

by: @carolynstahl

Ā  Ā  Ā An awesome combo indeed, and I don't know which one I would enjoy first if blessed with these items on my table. For those who've never had chai made from scratch Indian-style, it certainly can't be compared with the junk they pour from a Tetra Pak at corporate coffeeshop chain. Her homemade chai is a stellar one, and contains all the usual suspects such as fresh ginger and cardamom.

Ā  Ā  Ā We can't forget this awesome dessert that is paired with this homemade chai. I feel like no matter how much I've eaten for lunch or dinner, I could find a way to make room for that panna cotta somewhere in my tummy.

No Soup Toppings? You're Missing Out!

by: @riverflows

Ā  Ā  Ā Let the soup accoutrements flow like a river, because our fearless leader has shared with us some of her favorite soup toppings. Whether it be an Indian dahl or a western style puree, she has several ideas for how to turn the #plantbased creativity knob to NEXT LEVEL.

Ā  Ā  Ā She mentioned how excited her hubby gets when he knows a dish is going to have toppings, and this reminded me of my own daughters' love of Cincinnati Chili, which is the most heavily accessorized dish in my culinary arsenal. The girls spend nearly 5 minutes kitting out their chili, and the whole process makes eating #plantbased foods so much fun.

Vegan Sweet Potato Bars Recipe With 3 Ingredients

by: @anggreklestari

Ā  Ā  Ā This Indonesian chef proves 3 ingredients can be made into something really special, because it's all about technique. Well, sweet potatoes are delicious by themselves, and so is coconut, so of course they'd be delicious together. I love her recipes because they make use of ingredients my family and I often use in our kitchen.

Ā  Ā  Ā These bars remind of a similar Cambodian snack, and I love seeing the way these two nearby countries make us of similar ingredients in many times, very similar ways. She recommends putting these bars in the freezer for those of you that like a firmer texture.

šŸ² Sour Papaya & Tulsi Soup šŸŒæ A Khmer-ibbean Ital Veganuary Recipe šŸŒ“

by: @sreypov

Ā  Ā  Ā Our resident Cambodian Ital chef has given us this sour and spicy soup, which I dare say may scare COVID-19 away from your house. There are so much goodies in this soup that will clear out your nasal passages and supercharge your immune system, and did I mention it's delicious?

Ā  Ā  Ā The best part of this dish is that she snagged the tulsi from a neglected plant near her apartment and she stole the papaya from a nearby dying tree. Free food somehow tastes better, especially when you know you've saved it from going to waste.

We hope you get involved with posting lots of yummy #plantbased #vegan #naturalmedicine #ecotrain recipes! Both communities are now also supported by OCD, so good quality posts might also get a little bit of extra love. Stay healthy, stay safe, and stay happy!
