FIRST TIME AT CASA VERDE

Join me and let us find out about my first time at Casa Verde

Hello Hivers! First, my apologies for not being able to post some content lately as I've been dealing with a lot of stuff at work lately and my crazy schedule doesn't give me more time to post more here. I've missed it, hopefully, I could post more to share it with you guys.

Anyway, yes! You have read it right! My first time at CASA VERDE. I've been living in Cebu for almost 7 years this year but I haven't been able to try this, one of the most popular restaurants in Cebu City (I was busy trying some other place/s maybe hahaha) Also, I've heard that it's expensive here, so, I was kind of hesitant to try.

A good friend of mine invited me to go to the nearby mall from our office building. We got hungry roaming around so, we decided to try it out here. When we saw the restaurant I remembered someone told me that it was expensive here, luckily, my friend treated me. 😁

Let’s go?

This Casa Verde branch is in Ayala Mall branch located at Stall 304, 3rd level, The Terraces, Ayala Center Cebu, Cebu City, Philippines, 6000

More photos here ⬇️

We sat on the side with this massive foam chair

While waiting for the food, I tried to take a photo outside of the restaurant to see what it looks like from the chair we were on.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to achieve the photo that I like to capture or how I wanted to be. That's my good friend Danica sitting over there 😊

We ordered their best seller Baby Back Ribs, I can't remember the exact price and I wasn't able to take a photo of their menu (unfortunately). But what I remember though, it cost 200+ pesos for this meal excluding the bottled wotah (I mean water 😂)

They have a variety of food available, I would love to try the dessert they had, however, it was unavailable by that time so, maybe next time. As for the food, it is good and I must say that some of them are indeed pricey and some are not. If it's pricey then it's good if you are in groups so that you guys could divide the bill although, I think it's worth it because they have big servings.

Happy eating to this two 💗

I am grateful for the experience, thanks to my friend Danica

After eating, we then went out and found this display of cactus being sold and I remembered my boyfriend. We were once a cactus parents but both of our cactuses died although we are planning to have one again, each, and this time we will take care of it more.

And that's a wrap! Thank you for being with and see you on my next post hivers 💗

Cheers,
Mary 🌷

To be fair, their baby back ribs portion looks pretty small to me 😅 the cactus on display makes me want to adopt them! I have a couple of them and whenever I visit a cafe if they sell the cacti, I always bring back one.

hi @macchiatah, the ribs were served in 2 pieces. It might look small because you only see one 😅 do you have moon cactus?

@macchiata ours died too :( I was not a pro in taking care of moon cactus. I thought since it was a cactus, it doesn't need much care. It was not exposed to proper sunlight nor had enough water, I guess that was the reason it died.

Thanks for dropping your comment @joeyarnoldvn honestly, I'm bad at describing taste hahaha. What I can say though, is that it's our staple food so, we have it in most of our meals EVERYDAY. 😂 I appreciate that you liked the photos. Where are you from?
