African Ramen - spicy tantanmen in a vegan version / Afrykański ostry ramen w wersji wege

Imagine a thick, spicy soup with exotic toppings - okra, dende oil, sweet potato and vegan meat substitute in pepper sauce. This is vegan ramen, which you can get at the Yatta Vegan Ramen restaurant in Warsaw's Bielany district. A few days ago I ate Herbalizer ramen there, and today I decided to try something different, more exotic and spicy.

Wyobraźcie sobie gęstą, ostrą zupę z egzotycznymi dodatkami - okrą, olejkiem dende, słodkim ziemniakiem i niemięsem w sosie pieprzowym. To wegański ramen, który można dostać w restauracji Yatta Vegan Ramen na warszawskich Bielanach. Kilka dni temu zjadłam tam ziołowy ramen Herbalizer, a dzisiaj zdecydowałam się spróbować coś innego, bardziej egzotycznego i pikantnego.

Luckily this time it wasn't as crowded as last time and I had more places to choose from. There was a pokemon poster on one of the walls. Something cool for people who are fans of these creatures or have a fondness for them.

Na szczęście tym razem nie było tak tłoczno jak ostatnio i miałam więcej miejsc do wyboru. Na jednej ze ścian zawieszony był plakat z pokemonami. Coś fajnego dla ludzi, którzy są fanami tych stworków albo mają do nich sentyment.

I liked the fact that you get a bottle of drinking water for free in the Yatta restaurant. In Japan, this is the norm, in my country not necessarily, but it's great when such a custom is cultivated in a Japanese restaurant.

Spodobało mi się w Yatta, że otrzymuje się za darmo butelkę wody do picia. W Japonii jest to normą, w Polsce niekoniecznie, ale świetnie, gdy w japońskiej restauracji kultywuje się taki zwyczaj.

As for the soup. If you like stronger flavors, this will be the perfect choice. For me, the soup turned out to be a bit too spicy, but eating it reminded me of a trip to another country, the various additions in this soup were completely unknown to me and with each sip my palate had the opportunity to discover new flavors and aromas. I like to try new dishes every now and then, so it's not boring.

Co do zupy. Jeśli lubicie poczuć mocniejsze smaki, to będzie idealny wybór. Dla mnie zupa okazała się trochę zbyt pikantna, ale jej jedzenie przypominało wyjazd do innego kraju, różne dodatki w tej zupie były dla mnie zupełnie nieznane i z każdym łykiem moje podniebienie miało okazję do poznania nowych smaków i aromatów. Lubię co jakiś czas próbować nowe potrawy, dzięki temu nie jest nudno.
