Here's how we prepared a delicious potato stew for lunch.

Hi my loving foodie lovers,

What's up guys? I think everyting are ok for you in this difficult period doing very useful activities. I previously said that I really love to improve my creativity with making different dishes every single day. My family members love to take potato dishes. Many times we have prepared tempered potatoes and potato curries. But today I prepared potato stew very well suited for non spicy lovers. Without added chili pieces or powder potato stew recuded spicy flavor. You can see how I prepared it through this easy guidance.

Ingredients required

  • Five boiled and chopped potatoes
  • Chopped onion
  • Two chopped capsicum pods
  • Three peppercorns cut lengthwise
  • Chopped vanilla grass and curry
  • Chopped garlic
  • A little bit oil

  • 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • Teaspoon of mustard seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Teaspoon of pepper powder
  • Two tablespoons of vinegar
  • A few pieces of dry cinnamon
  • Two cardamom seeds

Preparing method

  • First, put a pan on the stove and add a little oil. When the oil heats up, add the mustard seeds and explode.

  • Add chopped vanilla grass, curry leaves, chopped garlic, dried cinnamon and cardamom and fry.

  • Add pepper powder and salt and mix well. Add turmeric powder and vinegar, stir and cook for about a minute.

  • Add chopped capsicum, chopped onion along with chopped green chillies and fry.

  • Finally add the boiled potatoes, stir and cook for another two minutes with the lid on.

This is such a healthy food! May I ask what could be the alternative fore mustard seeds
and cardamom seeds? I'm afraid that our market here doesn't have that :<<

Mustard seeds and cardmon enhance the flavor of the foods. So we add both spices to the dishes. If you haven't find them don't need to add to this recipe.
